Micky Ward! The Fighting Pride of Lowell is joining Woodsy on today's podcast. Micky gives us a bit of what he went through in the legendary Gatti-Ward fights and then shares his thoughts on the sport of boxing today. 

Jerry Capobianco is the head trainer to Joe Smith and is next on the pod. He talks possible opponents for his fighter and tries to make sense of the championship title picture at the Light Heavyweight division. 

Psychiatrist and Doctor, Johnny Lops, closes the show. Him and Woodsy talk white collar boxing and the preparation, aftermath, and conclusion of his journey into the ring.

Talkbox comes back and so is Jarrett Hurd! Jarrett is the former unified junior middleweight champ and he talks about his new approach and recent outing against Fransisco Santana. 

Malik Hawkins is next, and he's a Baltimore fighter headlining his first ShoBox card. He gives us plenty of reasons to keep an eye out for his Showtime card and his journey from prospect to contendership status. 

Ken Casey combines the classic DropKick Murphys and boxing for us on the pod, and Kyle Sarofeen gives us an insight so some great reading every boxing fan should have.

Woodsy is back and so is Julian Williams' trainer, Stephen Breadman Edwards. Breadman has a great conversation about his fighter's recent bout, PED's in the fight game, and just over all wisdom.

Next is manager in the fight game, Rick Glaser. Rick is being inducted into the NY state boxing hall of fame and Woodsy congratulates him. 

Wrapping up part one of EP 196, is the millennial wrap up with producer Andrew Cho. Cho shares the latest pop culture beef and tries to calm down Woodsy about the Stephen A-Joe Rogan debacle.

Woodsy is back with two great guests and his producer. Bob Arum phones in to give us an update on all things Top Rank. When is his new star signee, Inoue, debuting? What's the plan with Jarrell Miller? What does he think of Tyson Fury's testosterone regimen? It's all here for you and more!

The next event is Charles Conwell. Some of you may remember Conwell from the unfortunate fight that took Pat Day's life. This sport can be cruel, and Charles tells us what his mindset is into his next fight. 

Closing the show is Woodsy and his producer Cho. Woodsy gives an update on his new year's resolution, and Cho talks about getting called out on Instagram.

Talkbox has a returning guest today. Art Lovely! Art is joining us in studio and is excited to "be back" in the 20's. Art is pushing 92 years old, so he has a lot of stories to tell as he shares his view on how women in boxing has changed so much.

Mike Hilton is the main attraction this weekend in Trenton. He shares where he's at in his undefeated career and also a little bit on the rough background he's had to overcome. 

Frederick Julan is a boxer from France. He talks us through what it's like to be a prospect pushing towards contender status. Also what the move was like from France to New York.

Talkbox's first pod of the year! So many questions heading into 2020, we have a man who can answer a few of them, Derrick James, leading off the show. Derrick is the head trainer of Jermell Charlo, Errol Spence, and others.  He'll talk about everything, even the biggest fight on everyone's mind, a possible Spence vs Crawford.

Jesse Hart is a light heavyweight fired up and headlining Top Rank's Atlantic City card this Saturday. He's fighting a man who beat his hero and he's sharing with us his mindset for the fight coming up.

Cem Kilic is the co-main event to the Jesse Hart card and he's also the co-main on this pod! The Turkish super-middleweight takes on Stephen Nelson.

In light of some anti-Semitic attacks in New York last week, Yuri Foreman has decided to help people learn self defense. The fighting rabbi is teaching this self-defense class for anyone who feels threatened by recent attacks and he'll be doing that over at the famed and fabled Gleason's Gym.

Perfecting Athletes is next up! They help elite athletes with their health and have done great works with champs such as Terence Crawford, Jamel Herring, the MMA super camp American Top Team, and more! Little bits of knowledge for everyone in their conversation with Woodsy.

Last on the list, just a small chat on New Year's resolution between Woodsy and Producer Cho.

The future of boxing, Jermall Charlo, opens things up on the podcast. He's the WBC middleweight champion and fighting this Saturday against Dennis Hogan in Brooklyn, NY.

Talkbox brings you Woodsy and Bob Arum this week! They get into a bit of everything as the legendary promoter and Woodsy talk politics, Deontay Wilder, and some upcoming fight cards.

Next up is bantamweight contender, Elton Dharry. Dharry is coming off of a very close loss for a world title, and he shares a little bit of how he is doing afterwards. He promotes his own shoes and shares his road to being a world title holder.

Army veteran and boxing connoisseur, Augustus Tyler phones in and is up third. He shares how the Army days were the best days of how life and how boxing was a part of it all. 

Closing out the show is amateur standout, Charlie Sheehy. Despite the holidays, Charlie is still getting ready for the Olympic trials and has some key wins over current pros like Vergil Ortiz. Be sure to add him to your watch list for 2020 and beyond.

Michael Woods has a face off for two fighters with a scheduled rematch happening soon. It is Johnny Hernandez and Danny Gonzalez talking about their fight, history, and preparations to settle their beef once and for all. A bit of tension in the room, and Woodsy tries his best to manage these two hungry contenders.

Longtime promoter and Jersey native, Kathy Duva, phones in next. Kathy is CEO of Main Events Promotions and shares her perspective on her fighter, Sergey Kovalev. She even shares with us what Sergey told her in the ring about his future in the fight game. 

Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship is still alive and well! CEO of the promotion, David Feldman phones in to talk upcoming fight cards and Paulie Malignaggi???

Jim Boone runs KO tickets and shares his forecast on the boxing industry from a tickets perspective. Some good information on how Canelo and Logan Paul businesses differ.

Last but certainly not least, Latavia Roberson phones in to the podcast. Latavia is a former member of hit group, Destiny's Child, and she shares what made her go into the boxing world as a manager.

Six guests! on Everlast Talkbox with Michael Woods. First off we have legendary promoter Bob Arum on to talk about the recent fights and his promotion of the big Stevenson-Gonzalez card this weekend. We thank him for allowing us to catch up with him in his time in Cancun!

Next up, is one of the three faces of Everlast's Be First campaign, Patricio Manuel. Patricio competes under Golden Boy Promotions and is a transgender boxer in the pro ranks. He shares his story and journey through the amateurs and pros.

Dino Duva from RocNation boxing is up third. Dino shares where RocNation boxing is at now with its new crop of talent. Can't miss prospect, Xander Zayas, signed on with TopRank boxing at the age of 16. He makes his debut on Saturday and also comes on TalkBox to share what its like making his debut at 17.

Rounding out the show we have Woodsy following up on the possible next Beterbiev fight. Terry Lane manages Fanlong Meng and shares maybe the next big Chinese prospect in boxing. Fanlong will be the mandatory challenger to Beterbiev's IBF belt, and Tommy Lang phones in to put us all on notice. Talkbox back at ya on this Tuesday. Opening up the show is this Saturday's ShoBox attraction, Ruben Villa. Ruben Villa will be defending his WBO international title. He also talks about being the A-side and his origins of being a boxer.

Next up, Jose Balderas joins the show. He will be fighting on a separate card on Fox. He is currently undefeated in the bantamweight division and looks to make a statement this Saturday.

The always requested, American Treasure, Art Lovely is back on the show! He will be in an out of the show talking about heavyweight boxing, who his pick is for the Joshua-Ruiz 2 show, and as always, brings a history lesson for all you young folks.

Finally, Heather Hardy joins and talks with Woodsy on her last fight. She did not get her hand raised but she talks about how her fight stole the show on the DAZN card.
