Boxer & MMA fighter, Heather "The Heat" Hardy, calls in to chat with Woodsy in her first interview since her loss to Kristina Williams at Bellator 185. Heather gives an update on how she is feeling and how her nose is doing after that "kick heard 'round the world." She shares what she found out about Williams the morning of the fight, what she was thinking during the fight & discusses her plan to return to the cage.

Then, Eric Kelly drops by the TalkBox studio! The former boxer turned trainer tortures some of Everlast's employees and give his notoriously honest opinion on PED use in boxing, news & current events, and discusses some upcoming fights including Joshua/Takam, Wilder/Stiverne, Jacobs/Arias, Kovalev/Shabranskyy and Lomachenko/Rigondeaux.

Ms. Hardy is a true champion and a role model for kids, both girls and boys. Unfortunately, she walked into a kick that would have knocked most people out cold. She didn't go down, and she was even fighting back up until the time the fight was stopped. Very, very tough lady.

I admire her gracious words about her opponent.

Ms. Hardy had some success in the punching exchanges early in the fight; perhaps she would have won if she had been able to keep the fight at closer range.

I wish Ms. Hardy a full recovery from her injuries. I would like to point out that in a famous fight between two of the greatest boxers who ever lived, Harry Greb and Gene Tunney, Tunney went down to defeat with a similar injury but came back to win all four of his rematches with Greb.

Finally, Ms. Hardy's management team belongs in jail for matching her with such a dangerous opponent at this stage of her MMA career.
